Trick or Treating for UNICEF
Any student who would like to join Peer Leadership in Trick or Treating for UNICEF can pick up a box in guidance. 
See Ms. Coughlan if you have any questions. 

Student Council
Do you want to be a voice for the student body? Do you want to advise the principal on student issues? Do you want to be a leader and plan and promote school spirit events and community service events? If so, then you should join the OMS Student Council. Nomination Packets can be picked up outside the Chorus Room, Room 100, and need to be turned in by after school on Monday, October 16th. See Mr. Block if you have any questions!

Math Scavenger Hunt
The 4th Annual OMS Math Scavenger Hunt will take place on WEDNESDAY, October 18th AFTER SCHOOL from 2:15-3pm. If you like a competition and sometimes like doing math problems but really like ICE CREAM, then you should get a group together for the scavenger hunt. See the fliers around the building or Mrs. Vekasy in room 209 for more information. 

The open house for Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School will be on Saturday, November 18.
Any student interested in applying should try to attend. 

Anime Club
The Anime Club is starting on Monday, October 23, See Mr. Whiting in room 114 for a signup sheet?

Cultural Exploration Club
Do you know what is “CEC?” If you don’t, you should check out this newest afterschool club at OMS!  CEC stands for “Cultural Exploration Club.”  This club explores different cultures in a fun way. We have exciting activities every month, such as making special artwork with Mrs. Jarasitis or playing cultural-specific games with Mrs. Nutting or Mrs. Lee.  The first meeting will be on Wednesday, Oct. 25 in Room 121. Don’t wait!  See Mrs. Lee in Room 128 to get a permission form. All students are welcome!

Creative Writing Club
Attention all writers! Beginning Tuesday, October 17, the new OMS Creative Writing Club will take place on Tuesdays from 2:15-3:15 in room 205.  See Ms. Whittaker in room 205 or Ms. McElligot in room 113 for a permission slip.
