Welcome to the South School!  South Elementary School is one of five elementary learning communities in Stoughton, MA.  We currently have 264 students in 14 Classrooms, Grades K-5.  As a learning community, we strive for both academic and personal excellence, keeping our focus on the Core Values of Respect, Responsibility, Love of Learning, Creative Thinking, and Effective Communication.  With an emphasis on collaboration and teamwork, our students, staff members, and families work together to make sure that each child reaches high standards of excellence as a student and citizen and develops the skills and knowledge necessary to live a happy, healthy, and productive life.  Our team of excellent classroom teachers is supported by a strong group of educators, including: Special Educators (with a focus on Inclusion support); Literacy Specialist; Occupational Therapist; Physical Therapist; Speech Therapist; Specialists in Technology, Art, Music, and Physical Education; Librarian; Counselor; Custodian; Secretary; Nurse; and Paraprofessionals (providing Inclusion support).  We are proud of our students, and we hope that our website will help you learn a little more about us!
