Our Mission
The O'Donnell Middle School will maintain a safe environment, which fosters the intellectual, physical, social, emotional and moral development of each child.

The O'Donnell Middle School supports the active involvement of students in a variety of experiential learning opportunities and problem-solving strategies.

This encourages students to strive for academic excellence, develops a sense of responsibility and respect for themselves and others, and creates a strong bond among school, home and community.

About Dr. O'Donnell
Dr. Robert G. O'Donnell contributed thirty-five years of service to the Stoughton School System.  He began his carreer in 1959 as Director of Science at Stoughton High School.  In 1960, Dr. O'Donnell became Principal of Stoughton Junior High school (Since renamed Dr. Robert G. O'Donnell Middle School in his honor), a position he held until his retirement in 1991.

Sadly, in December of 1997, Dr. O'Donnell passed away.  He will be remembered as a dedicated educator, a wonderful colleague and a true friend.
